Community Programs

Youth Program

Our Youth Program provides free after-school boxing classes for youth ages 13 to 19. Classes focus on the fundamentals of boxing and conditioning, including basic punches and footwork. In addition to increasing physical fitness, this program encourages youth to utilize exercise as a healthy and productive outlet for stress, and also to build strong relationships with mentors and peers in their community.

Classes are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4:00pm - 5:00pm. All necessary boxing equipment is provided.

Frontline Fight Club

Frontline Fight Club, in partnership with MRT provides free boxing classes for frontline workers, aimed at bringing together those that are impacted by the effect of the province’s overdose crisis. By working through the stress of their jobs in the boxing gym, frontline workers are able to take better care of themselves and the communities they serve.

Friday classes are offered in partnership with MRT, Sunday classes are generously donated by Eastside coaches.

We have gloves available to borrow, and MRT will provide handwraps for Friday classes if needed.

All Frontline Workers involved with the DTES community are welcome.
