Classes focus on the fundamentals of boxing and conditioning, including basic punches and footwork. In addition to increasing physical fitness, this program encourages youth to utilize exercise as a healthy and productive outlet for stress, and also to build strong relationships with mentors and peers in their community. Classes are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4:00pm - 5:00pm. By working through the stress of their jobs in the boxing gym, frontline workers are able to take better care of themselves and the communities they serve. Friday classes are offered in partnership with MRT. We have gloves available to borrow, and MRT will provide handwraps for Friday classes if needed.
